Day 1 we will be travelling up to Liverpool for an afternoon Beatles Tour before going to your hotel, The Internationally famous Adelphi Hotel is a superbly appointed hotel in the very heart of Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008. Just 3 minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street train station, the Adelphi is the premier hotel in Liverpool. This is where you will have the rest of the evening to yourself. Day 2 after Breakfast you will have a free day to sample the amazing shops in the city centre, take an open top bus tour with the informative Citysightseeing (www.city-sightseeing.com) which leave from various stops every 30 minutes, there is a stop right outside the hotel. On this day between 14.30 & 23.00 there will be a 99p Bar where guests will be issued with a privilege key card to enable them to buy their drinks at this bar at the rate of 99p per drink. Drinks include house wine, draught beer and house spirits. The key card cannot be used in any other bar other than the designated 99p tariff bar. Day 3. After Breakfast we will go to Chester where you will have the morning to explore this amazing Roman walled city and get some lunch before your journey home.  £24 Supplement for single room.

Derbyshire Dales Tour 18th - 19th September 2010

Departing around 8am on Saturday morning and driving directly to the outstandingly regal Chatsworth House where the weekend in Derbyshire's Peak District will begin.  Sir William Cavendish & his wife Bess (Bess of Hardwick Hall) began building Chatsworth in 1552 and this magnificent house is still home to the current Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, part of the Cavendish dynasty.  You will be amazed at the fine paintings, furniture and history of the house, marvel at the glorious gardens and if you wish, have a meal in the restaurant. Later the coach will take a scenic route via Buxton to the International Hotel, Derby for evening meal, overnight stay and breakfast. On Sunday a visit the ancient village of  Bakewell, famous of course for the Bakewell Tart (called puddings by the locals) which have been eaten since the 16th century. It is here that you can get a tasty Sunday lunch. Matlock is also on the Sunday itinerary and here a ride on the cable car to the Heights of Abraham is recommended for the breath taking view. This is Britain's oldest tourist attraction and first Alpine Cable Car system in the UK. We will then take you over the hills and dales and of this beautiful countryside, stopping at other places of interest in the Peak District where he is sure you will enjoy the surroundings.  The price includes half-board in the hotel, entrance to Chatsworth House and all touring.
